Temperature and humidity management of grape germination

First, the temperature management work

According to the requirement that the grape sprouts from the temperature rise and the germination needs to be greater than or equal to 10 °C, the effective accumulated temperature is 450 °C ~ 500 °C. The unheated solar greenhouse starts to warm up and germination from the middle of January . After 30 days of warming up , the grapes sprouted. Grapes planted in greenhouses cannot be covered with curtains, and the temperature rise and germination period should be shifted accordingly.

During the temperature rise and germination, the temperature rise cannot be too urgent. If the temperature rises too high or too fast, it will cause the branches to sprout prematurely, and the ground temperature has not yet come up, the roots can not move normally, which will make the growth of the upper and lower parts of the grapes uncoordinated, the germination is not neatly arranged, and the ear is poorly developed. Therefore, starting from the temperature rise of the curtain, the first week temperature should be maintained at 15 °C ~ 20 °C, the night temperature should be maintained at 6 °C ~ 10 °C; the second week temperature should be maintained at 15 °C ~ 20 °C, and the night temperature should be raised to 10 °C ~15 °C; the third week temperature should be raised to 20 °C ~ 25 °C, the night temperature should be maintained at 13 °C 15 °C, until the germination.

Second, the management of humidity

Protected grape cultivation in the germination period is the period of maximum water demand during the growth period. If the water supply is insufficient during germination, it is prone to prolonged germination, germination rate, or germination. Therefore, after the start of germination, it is necessary to fully fill the water several times, the water volume is about 30 mm, and the irrigation is repeated 2 or 3 times, and the ventilating vent of the shed is closed, so that the relative humidity of the air in the shed is kept above 90 ‰. During the day, as the temperature rises, the relative humidity of the air often drops. At this time, tools such as a sprayer can be used to spray water on the grape branches, causing artificially humid conditions and promoting early germination.
