The research team led by Zhang Yanfei, deputy director of the Guangdong Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, recently went to Dayong Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province to discuss the related issues of the on-site meeting of the province's alliance standards promotion work to be held in the town in August.

It is reported that the "Union Standard" of the Dayong mahogany furniture industry was originally formulated in 1997. At that time, there was no unified standard of the mahogany furniture industry in the country, and there was no "Union Standard" that could be implemented by reference. In order to solve the problem of non-standard and disorderly competition in the mahogany furniture industry, under the guidance of relevant higher authorities, Dayong Town initiated the "Union Standard". On September 1, 2008, the new "Dark Color Hardwood Furniture" standard was officially implemented, and Dayong became the first professional town in Zhongshan City to successfully revise the national industry standards. In August this year, the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision will organize a site meeting of the province's alliance standards promotion work in Zhongshan City. The site will be selected in Dayong Town. The research meeting discussed the preparation of the on-site meeting. Participants also went to the on-site meeting to determine the site, the wood drying center and the product exhibition hall to further clarify the relevant work.

Steel Structures can be used in many industries such as foundation reinforce, electric power transmission structures and tubular scaffolding, etc.

A flange can also be a plate or ring to form a rim at the end of a pipe when fastened to the pipe. A blind flange is a plate for covering or closing the end of a pipe. A flange joint is a connection of pipes, where the connecting pieces have flanges by which the parts are bolted together.

Although the word flange generally refers to the actual raised rim or lip of a fitting, many flanged plumbing fittings are themselves known as 'flanges':

There are many different flange standards to be found worldwide. To allow easy functionality and interchangeability, these are designed to have standardised dimensions. Common world standards include ASA/ASME (USA), PN/DIN (European), BS10 (British/Australian), and JIS/KS (Japanese/Korean). In the USA, ANSI stopped publishing B16.5 in 1996, and the standard is ASME B16.5
