The improvement of competitiveness requires not only advanced development tools, manufacturing technology and project management, but also a comprehensive and reliable knowledge accumulation system, and the application of lessons learned in the development of new projects. It is necessary to organically combine information systems such as design, process, management, customer service, etc., to ensure the development quality of follow-up projects through the compilation of experience, lessons, knowledge sharing, convenient query, and quality control. This requires transforming the information infrastructure of enterprises, using advanced information technology to establish an information network covering the entire enterprise, and continuously improving various workflows.

At present, the emphasis and implementation of the comparative experience of most enterprises in China are uneven, and the degree of standardization is even more so. The information software and software of large-scale companies have basically no problem. The research on CIMS of universities and research institutes has made great progress from the actual situation of enterprises and comprehensively considering technology and management in enterprises. Enterprises should make full use of these. Conditions, accumulating knowledge bases, and accelerating the level of development are not difficult.

The author believes that the first step is to analyze and organize the existing knowledge base, and continue to improve in subsequent work to maintain the efficiency of inheritance and the speed of development. The UG user development process of the company where the author is located is already using the PDM system, and CATIA users are implemented during the year.

From the perspective of structural design work, the opinions on the organization and improvement of accumulation are as follows:

1. Current status and problems of reference to existing product databases:

At present, the company has accumulated a lot of product structure data of the project. The data of each project is arranged on the server for the designer to check according to the basic and consistent directory structure. It is a very good idea for the designer and summarizes the resources. However, the author believes that the following issues need to be improved:

(1) At present, only the 3D data is concentrated, and the design files are difficult to find and are placed separately. The design materials that need to be improved and centralized are: program design description, program review record, structural calculation description (or CAE report);

(2) At present, under the multi-client status, the product structure design tool software has many types and many versions, and the data format is not uniform (UG, CafiaV4, V5), and the data query of each item is difficult.

(3) The data archiving management lacks uniform rules and the boundary data is missing;

(4) The data status is inconsistent with the status of the production site product, and may be used in subsequent reference, and the problem reappears. It is currently the participants of this project to understand the situation at the time.

(5) The actual production stability and other conditions are not integrated. If you do not understand the specific progress of the project at the beginning, it is difficult to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each program.

2, product process database reference problems

A good designer is first and foremost a good craftsman. One person has limited energy. Not every designer has the opportunity to master the process knowledge before he is engaged in design work. This necessarily requires a good platform to manage shared product manufacturing. Process parameters of the process, process adjustments caused by various inputs, etc. are all incorporated into the PDM system for unified management.

At present, the process data, process cards, and standardized operation instructions for each product are stored in the process department of the factory and separated from the technology center. Therefore, if the technology center needs to query, it is very inconvenient, and the selection of the process is easy for the personnel who provide the design department. The defects cannot be effectively accumulated.

Accumulation and inductive summaries are not enough, just do a good job of existing products, and currently work on the long-term statistical analysis of the production environment, but for the mold and process rectification process, these experiences with money are not well recorded and analyzed every step of the way. Sharing, it is also necessary to summarize the design guidance in combination with the product structure characteristics.

   3, experience teaching and product structure process integration interface problems

The company has been working on the lessons learned for a long time. The project is summarized in the process of the project, paying special attention to the problem of generating design change categories, classifying according to the problem type, establishing the lesson&learn database, and requesting the submission of the query in the new development. The report form of the aspect ensures that the same problems that have occurred in the previous project are avoided, and the smoothness of the project is ensured, which can greatly improve the quality of the project design.
