Scope of application:
This standard specifies the pulsating tensile fatigue test method for welded joints.
This standard applies to the pulsating tensile fatigue test of steel arc welding butt joints and angle joints.
Common terms:
1. Pulsating tensile stress--- refers to the tensile alternating stress with zero minimum stress or minimal minimum stress without dislocation.
2, s (stress) - N (cycle number) curve --- the curve with the stress as the vertical axis and the number of stress cycles as the horizontal axis, usually called SN curve.
3. Conditional fatigue limit--- refers to the maximum value of the pulsating tensile stress that can withstand a certain number of cycles.
Selection of test equipment:
1. Use a ZCPL fatigue tester that can achieve pulsating stretching.
2. Have a suitable sample clamping device. The fixture can ensure that the sample is centered. The minimum eccentricity requirements are shown in Appendix A (Supplement). During the test, the specimen shall not slip.
3. The test machine should be verified before the test.
4. The dynamic load oscillating fluctuation should be less than or equal to 3000.
experiment method:
1. The test is repeatedly applied to the sample first. At this time, the maximum stress should be less than the test stress, and the minimum stress is generally controlled by 39 N/mm^2.
2. During the test, the sample should not be loose during the test, and the applied stress should be quickly adjusted to the test stress. The test stress error shall not exceed ± 2%.
3. Except for special requirements, the frequency of the test shall be carried out at 3-50 Hz.
4. The test should not be interrupted.
