Usage estimate

Calculation method

For the average user, how to estimate the amount of latex paint is really difficult, it is also very necessary, here is a simple calculation method. For user reference.

● Remove areas that do not need painting, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

● Brushing area of house ceiling = floor area of the house floor area × 1.5.

● The brushing area of the house wall = the floor area of the house's floor area × 2 .

● The total brushing area of the house = the ceiling brushing area of the house + the brushing area of the house wall.

● Calculate the amount of latex paint according to the amount of paint used for the selected latex paint.

Dosage (cans number) = total brushing area of the house × number of passes (usually 2 passes) / paint consumption per square × packaging capacity

Calculation Example

Brushing area calculation: (according to mercerized wall paint consumption of 14 square meters per liter calculation)

The amount of paint used in a single room: room ceiling brushing area = 10 square meters × 1.5 = 15 square meters

. . . . . . . . Room wall painting area = 10 square meters × 2 = 20 square meters

Room ceiling paint volume = 15 square meters × 2 times / 14 square meters per liter × 5 liters per can = 043 cans

Room wall paint volume = 20 square meters × 2 times / 14 square meters per liter × 5 liters per tank = 057 cans

Single room paint 0.43+0.57=1 cans

The amount of paint used for the whole house = [(10+8+20) square meters × 1.5+ (10+8+20) square meters × 2] × 2/14 square meters per liter × 5 liters per tank = 4 cans

Note: This calculation method is for reference only, and the specific amount needs to be slightly increased or decreased according to the specific conditions of the house.

Wall paint construction area = (building area × 80% -10) × 3

Coating latex paint is basically divided into 5 liters and 15 liters of two specifications. Taking the 5 liters capacity commonly used in households as an example, the theoretical brushing area of 5 liters is 35 square meters twice.

A rough calculation method: ground area × 2.5 ÷ 35 = number of barrels used.

Accurate calculation method: (length + width) × 2 × room height = wall area. Length × width = top surface area (wall area + top surface area - door and window area) ÷ 35 = number of barrels used.

Taking a room with a length of 5 meters, a width of 3 meters and a height of 2.9 meters as an example, the indoor wall and top brush area are calculated as follows:

Wall area: (5 meters + 3 meters) × 2 × 2.9 meters = 46.4 square meters

Top area: (5 meters x 3 meters) = 15 square meters

Coating amount: (46.4+15) ÷ 35 square meters = 1.7 barrels

Pixel Filter

Pixel filter, referring to the arrangement of RGB channels in color filters, arranges multiple micron level spectral channels into a spectral period according to a certain pattern. The pixel filter can be customized according to the detector pixel size to achieve one-to-one alignment of the spectral channels and detector pixels.
