The period from emergence to bud of cotton is seedling, which takes about 40-45 days. In this period, because the temperature is still low, the seedlings are small and small, the disease resistance is weak, and it is extremely vulnerable to pests and diseases, resulting in lack of seedlings and ridges, or hindering the growth of cotton, affecting the early growth of strong seedlings. The diseases in this period mainly include blight, anthracnose, cotton blight, etc. The main pests are small tigers, cotton aphids, cotton leafhoppers, cotton blind elephants, and thrips.  First, disease prevention. After the cotton seedlings are unearthed, they should be ploughed early and diversified to increase the ground temperature, loosen the soil, promote the growth and development of roots and plants, and reduce the occurrence of seedlings. In the early stage of blight and anthracnose, 50% carbendazim WP 500-800 times solution, or 18% copper rosinate emulsion 700 times solution or 75% thiophanate-methyl WP 800-1000 times spray Control, spray once every 7 days, even spray 2-3 times. In the early stage of cotton blight, 58% metalaxyl manganese-zinc wettable powder or 70% mancozeb wettable powder 600-800 times liquid spray can be used for prevention and treatment, and the drug is administered once every 5 days for 3-4 times.  Second, pest control. The small-scale tigers are treated with 40% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate 500-800 times liquid or 3% with 3% phoxim granules 2-3 kg mixed with fine soil 20 kg and combined with watering for prevention and control.  When the cotton seedlings have a rate of 10% before the three -leaf stage and 20% after the four-leaf stage , immediately control the cotton nursery with 10% imidacloprid WP 2000 times or 3% acetamiprid. Wet powder 3500-4000 times liquid plus appropriate amount of silicone auxiliary spray for prevention and treatment.  The control of cotton leafhopper is controlled by using 1.8% avermectin or 20% hydrazine emulsifiable concentrate 2000 times solution and appropriate amount of silicone auxiliary spray.  Occur in cotton fields Miridae, damaged trees rate of 2% -3%, one hundred successful, when the head nymphs 1-2, immediately medication for control. Use 1% emamectin EC 50 ml, or 4.5% beta-cypermethrin EC 40 ml + 40% chlorpyrifos EC 60 ml, or malathion EC 30 kg water spray plus appropriate amount of silicone additives Prevention and treatment.  The control of cotton scorpion horses uses 1 kg of 50% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate before planting , and 100 kg of water for 25-50 kg of seedlings, which can effectively control the seedling stage hummer. After the seedlings, there are 100 plants with 15-30 heads or 3 pieces of true leaves. There are 10 heads of worms , and 4 pieces of true leaves. There are 20-30 heads of insects . The following agents can be used for prevention and treatment: 50% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate 1500 times solution, or 25% pymetrozine wettable powder 1500 times solution, or 1.8% avermectin EC 2000-4000 times solution, or 70% imidacloprid wettable powder 1500-2000 times solution.
